C3-D Glasses
ChromaDepth™ is a 3-D technology first conceived by a German scientist and developed by Rick Steenblick of the US. It took him 15 years to bring the invention to market, the last three years at the MIT Media Lab.
These glasses split the spectrum on the depth axis, so instead of the colors going from left to right in sequence, they go from front to back. Red in front, then golden yellow, next white then green then blue and finally indigo and black.
The effect comes from the color contrast or Chroma, thus the name ChromaDepth™
Some are very simple in their color structure, others are complex. The effectiveness does not depend on the number of color or complexity of colors, but on the color contrast.
The patent is owned by American Paper Optics at www.3-dglassesonline.com.
